Piano and Violin Recital Numbers - November 2012

Raquel and Raeli had a Piano and Violin Recital on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Here are recordings of their numbers. BTW, Raquel's hair is done up like that because she was also involved in a Ballroom Dance competition that day -- I will post videos of that in a little bit.

Ruth and I were invited to be part of a dance "floor show" at a Church Valentine's Dance. We were learned an east coast swing dance to "Rock Around the Clock" with 5 other couples. Here is just us doing our dance routine in our family room.

Well . . . it is almost embarassing that it has been a full year since I last posted something on my blog. However, here are some recordings of the girls' piano and violin recital performances yesterday. You can compare them to the previous blog entry (a year ago) and see the improvement that nearly $1,000 and a year of practicing produces!

Piano & Violin Recital Performances

Today all of the girls had a recital. Here are video recordings of their performances.



Raeli plays a violin solo and then plays a duet with Andie Giles.

911 Calls - Loveland, Colorado - Dec. 6

For those who may be interested -- three of my nieces were involved in a car accident in Loveland, Colorado on December 6. All three of them were hospitalized with varying injuries. One of my nieces -- Brooke -- was the most serverly injured. She was in the hospital for more than 3 months and is still going through extensive therapy.

Their story is going to be featured in an upcoming The Discovery Channel's "Call 911" show. The family was given recordings of some of the 911 calls in preparation for this show. I have posted them here so those people following their story on CarePages (www.carepages.com/carepages/3BeautifulGirls -- for those who would like more details) could hear the 911 calls if they desire.
